Except in VERY rare instances, I don't lend anything to anyone. Seems like whenever I lend something out, I never get it back ... or if I finally do, I've had to remind the person about it (sometimes repeatedly), and that makes me uncomfortable.
I don't generally ask to borrow anything, either, including money.
