I am planning to make two Attic Window quilts for our twin grandchildren's 2nd birthday. Below I have included a link to an example of making the blocks using half-square triangles rather than having to sew the "Y seams" for each window. While this will be much quicker for me, I was wondering if any of you have used this method and/or do you think that extra seam will detract from the flow and illusion of the window frame.
