I have found that small which I use you can starch and press .clover iron or similiar useful.. Tacking I just do a stitch aon the folded point and easy to keep in place then I always press them.
No idea why I press them unless I like the look feel.
Cut hexi es is the seam included. Just read mine and can't find answer.
