I started out using invisible thread on a table runner and liked it so much I have used it on several quilts. No problems with it and I like the affect it has on some quilts. I often use invisible thread in the bobbin, depending on my backing fabric. The one thing I like about using the invisible thread in the bobbin is that the thread is so thin you can fit a lot on it which means you can sew for a long time without having to fill your bobbin again.
