I love making hexies , especially with 1930's reprduction prints. Your scrappy hexagon quilt will look great! Since I have discovered silk thread I find I enjoy joining the hexies together more than I used to. Silk thread is so fine it kind of disappears into the fabric so it is invisible and the joins look much better than using regular thread - well, at least with my stitching they do. ha ha Also I find silk thread very easy to use as it doesn't tangle.
