I have an old, GFG quilt top that I found in estate sale years ago. I think it really was done in the 30s, as all of the fabrics are from that era and the top looks old. Unfortunately, the maker wasn't very precise in her piecing and it is going to need some reworking to get it completed. I don't know if I want to touch her heartfelt work, or just leave it the way it is. I can't really use it for much the way it is right now. Does it take THAT long to do hexies? (In other words, is it as bad a small pieced yo-yo quilt?) I already have a lot of 30s feedsack fabrics to get me started.

BTW, I love the 16 patch hexi. To me, the green looks like leaves.
