Dina, WHEN are YOU going to qualify yourself as an expert?? All you really need is the width of the strip set cut and the number of the fabric on top. Should be rather easy since you have the quilt to refer to as reference. That is what I did when I did two of Eileen Wright quilts that had mirror image down the center. I just look at the opposite row. I think the final top came out superb!
I was going to suggest since you are keeping the original quilt/pattern/design, just use it. Leave it in the room with you when you work and use it as your reference.
