I only want my quilts to be gently used, taken care of and my hours of work and the money I have invested in them respected. If something is torn to shreds does not mean it was respected or appreciated or loved - means someone doesn't know how to teach respect for things. A cheap store bought blanket would serve those better. Sorry that is the way I feel about anything I give. One daughter dropped out of her 1st & 2nd Marriages w/ 3 kids and took all their baby quilts with her, never to be seen again. I wish she had left them folded in a closet, at least they would have them now.
