If I'm short there I order a spool of Aurifil thread which I love and can't get locally. The challenge I find buying on line is matching things since I rarely buy fabric from the same coordinating line. Connecting Threads changes their lines and presents them together so it is easier to tell if something will match. I usually shop the sales.
