Okay, you said far-fetched......
This quilt reminds me of one in the first, year long, round robin I did with 10 very special friends about 20 years ago. With the challenge parameters we had set, anyone was allowed to even cut apart and reassemble a quilt received in their round .....
..... and one of the strippy flying geese quilts was done exactly that way! It turned out SO interesting! Wish I had a picture of it, but it looked sort of like this graph below.
Your quilt be will wonderful no matter what you do with it!
