Wow this may be a great way to use up many fabrics that are given to me and what a great idea. I am going to contact a local nursing home to see if they would be interested. Also I have read if you can use fabrics, and items that the person had it would also help them.
The ideas are great,just one word of warning, do not put safety pins on the quilts.I have seen brooches attatched and they can be undone and cause damage to the sufferer.For many years I made books and I included zips and velcro fastenings, plus things such as suspenders and bra clips --- brought back memories for ladies and men!!! A really lovely project, I think I may go back to making my fabric books. Love Letty.
