I know the feeling, I am quilting a signature quilt for a school coworker. I did not do the quilt nor was I consulted as I was getting ready for my daughter's wedding. The quilt is really cute and original, but the fabric is canvas and machine applique which makes it double stiff and the backing is polyester. I end up closing my eyes and doing as little machine quilting as I could. I really wanted to redo the whole project as I know it could have been a delightful quilt with the right fabric but...
