Default How to track the quilts you want to do

Do you keep a list, or somehow track, the quilts you want to do? I have a list in my head, but the list is getting too long to keep there! For some planned quilts I have the fabric and pattern and just need the time. For others I've found a pattern I want to do and have ideas in mind for the types of fabric. In other cases I've just found a pattern I want to do eventually.

It would be nice to have a list so that when I'm ready to start something new I could reference it. I think it would also be great for the times I get to go away for a weekend to quilt with friends. If I had a list of projects it would be easy to pick the best one for a weekend.

I just wondered what others do. I'm thinking about starting a spreadsheet, but then I'm known for my spreadsheet to my friends and family, so that's a natural way for me to do it. How does everyone else do this?
