Featherweight sews on its own
My Singer Featherweight 221 works just fine most of the time, but occasionally it starts sewing by itself. I turn the on/off switch to off, but it just keeps sewing. The only way to stop it is to remove the power cord. I found instructions on how to remove the capacitors; however, my foot pedal does not look like the pictures in these instructions. Looks like it does not have any capacitor This may have already been discussed, but I could not find it. Any ideas/suggestions?
