GFG Baby Quilt - Need Advice
My DN is expecting the first baby girl in our family since our DG was born 16 years ago (there have been 9 boys, GS's and GN's, in the meantime). I decided to make this quilt, all hand pieced, and was going to hand quilt it. Well, instead of having her shower mid September, it is being held 2 weeks from Saturday! There is no way I can get this hand quilted by then, so need suggestions and advice on machine quilting it. I'd like to quilt it in the traditional echo inside each hexagon, but am concerned about all the stops and starts.
