I like having a Big Board, makes ironing yardage and quilt tops much simpler. My friend and I made 2 Big Boards, one for me and one for her. It wasn't too hard, got all the lumber cut at Lowes or Home Depot. Dh showed us how to put them together. I bought one of the heavy duty ironing boards at Target, a flimsy ironing wouldn't hold it.
