I know it sounds trivial, but just today, while watching a quilting video, I discovered the automatic needle threader - I'm pretty sure that was the most valuable thing (for me) in the video! I am now at "that age," and no matter what glasses I try, I cannot see the needle eye to thread it - sometimes not even well enough to use one of those little wire threaders. It's been quite aggravating, especially with small and fine needles. I'm putting that automatic needle threader on my list of things to buy with my next 50% off coupon at Michael's or Jo-Ann.
