Well, you should have seen the wires before he changed them. I'll have to ask him again why he couldn't get the old light to work. He told me, but I have forgotten. Something about how it was wired up in the first place.
The LEDs are under the arm, and you can't really see them while sewing except for the last one on the right. It's a strip of nine little spots of light that can be cut into threes. What shows is the red wire that goes from the last light down and behind the motor.
