That mount on the under the hand wheel is the bobbin winder mount.. it doesn't use a bobbin case, maybe we should say the case and hook is one piece, it's in there so is the bobbin..
to get the bobbin out. roll it over till the bobbin is down. stick a finger nail at the screws and under the face, then flip the entire face up and over to the left. in other word the whole face is hinged flips over to the side
I think you'll find the belt guard / hand crank clamp on the round boss behind the hand wheel
