your winder should look like this. the arm is stationary. the thumb screw at the end loosens, just the wheel and spindle for the bobbin move. not sure about the zinc plating, this machine is a makeover evrything on it was replated , including a sporty chrome face plate [ATTACH=CONFIG]501127[/ATTACH]
