My Ginghers were purchased in the early seventies and lasted very well until I began quilting. I think (know) it's probably cutting poly batting that did it. When my mom passed away, I found the Ginghers I had given her years ago packed in the original box with sheath. The note on it said "for Gail".
I have those safely tucked away.
