We have 80 acres, 7 miles out of town, the biggest town in the entire county, population roughly 2,800, population of entire county is roughly 9,500.
Our "house" isn't much, especially compared to our old home, 800 sq. ft versus 2200, but at least we don't have any close neighbors and town is minutes away, versus an hour at our old home. The closest "big" town is 100 miles away, the "big" city is either Redding, 150 miles or Reno 200 miles. We rarely go to either place.
