I'm a snowbird and I lugged two machines to AZ this year - a sewing machine and an embroidery machine. I found a great deal on Craigslist for a Brother 8500D combo embroidery/sewing machine with lots of additional hoops and software for downloading designs so for Christmas my DH drove 1-1/2 hours so I could get the machine. I owned one years ago so I'm familiar with it. Cleaning it up now and going to test drive it on a class I'm taking next month to make a bargello table runner. Pretty excited! It will stay in AZ.
