I would love to be a "cozy quilter" but I am afraid I am a bit crazy about points, size etc. The last quilt I made for my grown son was off 3/4 inch between panels and I measured the width of each strip and ripped out and re-seamed several strips. I also made a wall hanging which hangs on my wall that drives me crazy. It was a kit of plaids done into stars. There was not enough fabric in the kit to "match" the plaids :hunf: . It looks great from a distance - but still annoys me.
My resolve for the new year is to try to become more like that "cozy quilter" (I love that term - great phrase!!).
