99K stitch issue
hi all
I am getting my 99k handcrank running.. I cleaned it.. although it was really clean .. oiled it and started using it. I am adjusting the tension and have an issue. the top thread is not always catching the bottom one. so I get these big open spots.. and then it will stitch again. regretfully, the manual that came with it in in German. and I don't read German. I am looking for an English version online but wondered if anyone could point me to what the issue is. I tried looking on the board but there are a lot of posts to go thru..
