I would recommend concentrating on quilts for boys. We quilters are mostly women, and we all seem to love "pretty" quilts. However all the groups I have worked with have a definite shortage of things for boys. I always try to make 2 or 3 boy things for every girl thing I make. It doesn't have to be super heroes, but items that aren't pink and flowery will definitely get used.
