Greenbranch, I have some vellum used for architectural tracings. But it is very heavy stock. Is yours very light, more like the old-fashioned stationery or airmails papers? $7 for 30 sheets sounds expensive but I can't remember what I paid for the Carol Doak arithmetic paper...it is a little easier to see through than copy paper but not by much.
Macybaby thanks for the explanation on the fussy-cut. I love what you did to Arkansas. I wasn't too thrilled with some of her color combinations, so I have been experimenting with that, but you are leading the way here by changing up the colors to create a really cool pattern.
Dotty more great colors.
My biggest problem right now is lining up the A and B and assembling the star. Having no luck with her method of basting - every pin is an invitation to skew the two pieces -so trying end-arounds to improve the final product. Love to hear suggestions!
