There are two reverses. One is the large dial and the other is the lever at the top.

Joe, the reverse lever is not awkward at all; at least it wasn't for me. At that spot I actually wore the paint off the body of the machine-all the way to the brushed metal finish. Course, I wore the paint off the wheel and spots on the bed of the machine as well. Some wear was fabric moving across the bed but a lot of it was something in the oils of my hands. You should see what I can do to hand sewing needles as well as metal crochet hooks and knitting needles! It's like rubbing glass marbles together. Thank heaven for bone and plastic!

I wish you a sunny day. I wish me one too. Just discovered that the sky is really still blue. It's been dark and grey and a raw cold here. FL houses are not built for this kind of day. The meteorologist husband just told me to take a picture-more rain coming. Drat.
