I agree with Judi - Hatched in Africa designs are great! Sew out so well. And Embird is what I use also. Like every program, just take it a step at a time. I love the look of Embroidery Library, but gosh are they stitch intensive and have a lot of color changes. I always have to do something to eliminate some of the stitches. That being said, I did their Last Supper design, and it is one of the embroideries I have done that I absolutely love! Took hours to do but well worth it.

One thing I found out about embroidery library designs is they sew out super heavy, read on a site their designers are paid by the stitch. You want your designs as light as possible while keeping the integrity of the design.
