This is my philosophy as well. The only people who ever look at quilt backs are other quilters.
Another thing to think about, although since you're making a wall hanging I'm not sure it will apply: When you wash the quilt, a LOT of quilting boo-boos disappear, and the threads have a tendency to tighten up so you don't see the bobbin thread on top.
