My answer - no, I am not being completely altruistic because I get a lot of benefit from making them. ( not in terms of income, though!)

It is, in my opinion, actually a win- win situation
That reminds me of a question, a friend and I were pondering years ago. We're taught to have humility BUT if one takes pride in having humility, doesn't that negate the humility?
