Finish the quilt and give it to your daughter. My kids love ANY quilt that I make for them. I am working on a special quilt for a friend right now, and have had to search through my stash for pieces of odd colored fabrics to make a few more blocks to make the quilt super king size for her bed. I found some, and made the blocks, but they don't make me happy enough to leave them in the quilt (even though I have it almost completely pieced together). So, guess what I did today? I went to the LQS, and bought about $20 worth of fabrics to re-make all those squares (which means taking the ones out of the pieced work) and will be re-doing them. Dread, dread, dread. But, it needs to be done--and she will appreciate it when I give it to her. It is just going to take me a lot longer to finish it for her.

Our saying goes "on a galloping horse who's going to notice"....but, who on a galloping horse is going to notice mistakes in a quilt????
