I think the dealer sounds pretty shabby. I have fixed timing on a machine and it took all of 1 minute. Your dealer sounds like a greedy so-and-so. Maybe you could ask to watch him fix it...???.....

I have the glasshead pins and very careful not to run over them, I will check the needle bar.
