I was told by Janome that other dealers will do the warranty work and the parts will be covered but NOT the labor necessarily. It's up to the individual dealer to decide if they'll do the labor free or not. That's directly from janome.com customer service. Never had to do it yet so don't know how my local dealers would treat me.

I THINK you can take your machine to any Janome dealer and have warranty work done, it doesn't have to be through the person you bought it from. Is there another dealer you can call or take it to?
