There was an article last week in the Everett WA 'Herald' newspaper about men inmates in the Monroe WA prison who are using donated fabrics to make quilts for charity! They've donated several hundred since the program's inception in 2008. The photo showed an inmates's two big beefy arms, covered in tatoos, with part of a quilt top he's been working on & comments about how therapeutic it's proven to be. Of course WE already knew that...
