hey barn, wasn't it the velveteen rabbit that said it was love that made him real? i think it is the same for our early efforts that are loved by the kids in our lives. i know my grandson has an old quilt that is held together mostly by the mends and he is 18 and would not part with that unsightly but much loved quilt for anything.
