I discovered, to my dismay, that a favorite store of mine,
a real high end store, was only a "C" in the chain. The "A" stores
were on the CA coast, and in my little town we got cheated. Even
in a larger store 50 or so miles away the quality difference was
easily seen, it was a "B" store, and until then I could not understand
why. A customer informed me of that, and forced a sales clerk to confirm
it. Of course the price difference was very obvious as well as the quality!!
Now I'm wondering about some of our other chain stores here..I'll try to
check them in other towns as I visit them.
