Someone mentioned it was boring when we are all being good. OK. I'll sacrifice myself just to keep things lively. Last Thursday, I went to my class at the LQS with my gift certificate burning a hole in my wallet. I had been toying with the idea of making a quilt for an upcoming wedding shower, and found the perfect fabric. Good so far, as I will use it immediately. However, when I took it to the cutting counter, I saw this:

I'm a sucker for batiks (it's not but it looks like one) and birds, and blue... so I got a couple yards, took it home and introduced it to the rest of my stash.
I have already completed the wedding shower top, using the purchased fabric + stash. Hope to get the quilting done today and post a picture by the end of the week.
