It didn't appear that she was using a walking foot. I am surprised she didn't have pucker stitches. I have tried this method before on smaller lap throws and always wound up with puckers so I switched to a walking foot and sewed much slower that she did.
On the Pfaff, the walking foot is built in and is called IDT. It's so much better than attaching a bulky walking foot. I have two Singers that I have to use that type of walking foot on, consequently I don't use them very often for SID although they are great for regular piecing.
