No one in my family quilted that I know of so I am the first. My first memory of a quilt is in the late 1970's I was newly married and came upon the new magazine The Quilting Newsletter. I devoured every new issue. Then when I was pregnant with our first child while stationed in Texas, I ordered a baby quilt kit for $12.00. I made it and was hooked!!
