Baking soda is pretty awesome when it comes to removing grease. I use it on my oven for a quick cleanup, the sink and countertops for a non toxic deodorizing clean up. I use it to clean my cast aluminum cook ware. There are many other uses as well, cosmetic and culinary. This is just a few. Also that nasty sticky greasy coating that happens on and around stove tops....yup...works like a champ.
