I use the small kind of terry like pony tail holders. I put one around the bobbin and then put the bobbin into a box for storage. You can get the pony tail holders at Wal-Mart. You want the tiny small baby size, they are perfect for any size bobbin. I use them on my large longarm bobbins too.
I use these, too, although I bought them at a quilt show! I also color code - use one that matches the color of thread on the bobbin.
