My goodness-What a journey! I started with a Singer treadle from a yard sale for $10 that included the wooden puzzle box of attachments. Found another one 80 miles away and the woman was downsizing for a move so bought a Howe Model A also as it had a very intriguing design. Down the rabbit hole from there. Craigslist and local Freecycles are fun searches because I can see pics of different machines. I generally stay away from EBay- got a shattered $10 Damascus from poor packing. We're all enablers here!
