Well, soy's a
goitrogen, it's been linked to certain chemicals and it's a
phytoestrogen (a
xenoestrogen) so can be linked to
estrogen dominance which is linked to still more cancers not to mention lots of other bad symptoms. It also has to be cooked to make it "less" toxic. I don't think it's ever been food but we put it in everything these days!
I've changed to coconut milk. I like it better than almond (which I drank for years) and I find it sits better in my stomach than the almond milk. It's also a little nicer in tea than the almond - creamier more like the milk I can't drink.
