I wash and dry all my quilts when the binding is done. If I need to give one away I know it will be clean. If I donate I write on the bag it is clean. If I mark it and I usually do, I want to make sure all of them are gone. I speard the quilt on my glass top dining table overnight to make sure it is totally dry.
