I have made a couple of Hunter Star Quilts. They were both queen size. The first was using Deb Tucker's ruler and the 2nd was paper pieced. I chose paper piecing because I wanted it scrappy and thought that would give me results I wanted easier. Deb Tucker's rulers are the way to go imho. Booth took much more fabric than I expected. If she is asking for only 2 yards of each fabric, I think it will be a lap size. If you want yours larger, you will need more yardage.
Sorry for the double post. I went to edit the post and my computer is having problems and haven't found a fix for it.
