    Love Hunter Star, Deb Tucker's rulers are fantastic. Light and dark work for me. Your colors are perfect! The red is absolutely inspiring. So many patterns and the days go by too fast.

    I did 2 up and used the Deb Tucker ruler for the second one. It was so much easier I think.

    You don't have to use white and a color, you just need to be sure there is definite contrast between your light and your medium to dark fabric.
