Help Please with rescued Singer 648
Hello,
I rescued a Singer 648 today from a Restore. I have her oiled and taken apart. The receptacle where the power cord is to be inserted has three prongs. It looks like it should have four prongs. Can I replace one prong? Where could I get one? Do I need to replace the whole brown plastic receptacle? Where can I get one? I have new feed dogs and a power cord/foot controller on their way. I appreciate any help!
