Jeanne, I finished the ripping and am back to square assembly. I'm happy I took to time to take out the icky fabric and replace it with something else. I've never had a quilt where I was doing so many last minute changes. once I have it together I will still have to shop a black for the border too!
I'm looking forward to getting to that point though!
