Have you always had this problem with your cutter?
Do you ever take off the needle plate and clean out all the fuzzzzzz that get's in there, the fuzz gets under the bobbin holder, feed dog, and auto thread cutter mechanism. I have a small brush I use, along with air in a can, and vacuum. I would try cleaning it, and if that wont help take it to the shop if you can.
